Bet365 Aims For Accessibility And Convenience With New EML Partnership
  • EML operates over a dozen prepaid gambling cards across three continents.
  • New Jersey bettors would be able to use their EML card similar to an ATM card.
  • Bet365 and EML have agreed to have the partnership extend outside of New Jersey as well.

Atlantic City, N.J. – Making a second round into the U.S. sports betting market, EML Payments USA LLC has announced a partnership with Bet365 this week.

The agreement is physically between EML Payments and Hillside, who are the parent companies of the payment processing company and online sportsbook.

EML will offer New Jersey gamblers a more convenient method for depositing and collecting their sportsbook funds within their online accounts. Becoming a cardholder would entail the sports bettors to facilitate real-time payouts, where money on the player’s account can be used in stores, at ATMs, for online purchases and more. Additionally, they can control how much (if any) of the cash gets sent back into the online betting account.

All of this must first undergo the approval of the New Jersey Department of Gaming Enforcement, who will likely approve the idea and have the setup ready to operation by the summertime. However, EML isn’t planning on stopping only in New Jersey.

The deal allows for EML to be partnered with Bet365 across every platform in the country, should they expand their own market.

We have already seen EML agree to terms with PointsBet USA earlier this year with the same features in place. However, we will now focus on the New York market, as Bet365 has partnered up with Resorts World Catskills.

Though mobile betting at legal betting sites is not currently permitted in New York, it can be assumed it will be immediately added into law next year, after the month-long debate about the mobile wagering standards this year.

EML has 13 branded programs in the gambling industry for reloadable prepaid cards throughout Australia, Europe, and North America.
